Coach White is in his sixth year as Head Coach & GM of the Long Beach Bombers ice hockey team. He has
been involved in Southern California hockey since birth. His coaching experience includes the WSHL’s
Jr. A Long Beach Bombers, and the Midget AAA u18 Long Beach Jr. Ice Dogs. White has served as a scout for
the Pacific District’s USA Hockey Select Tournament teams, and for the Western Hockey League. He remains
in contact with many former teammates, opponents, and coaches that are spread throughout North America,
coaching or scouting at the professional, NCAA, USHL, NAHL, WHL, BCHL, and other levels. As a local youth, he
played for the South Coast Sabers and the Los Angeles Jr. Kings. Coach White played four years of
Division-l New England Prep School Hockey at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. He then
earned a scholarship to attend Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. After four years of Division-l
NCAA hockey, he holds a spot on the college’s prestigious “100 Point Club” and played in an NCAA National
Championship Tournament. He is focused on developing a winning culture within the organization. In the past
five seasons, he is proud to have advanced the hockey careers of over two dozen players. Last season, the Bombers
earned their third consecutive playoff berth. The season was highlighted by a 39-10-3 record, the fifth consecutive
season with an improved point total. The Bombers also won their first ever Western Division Championship, eventually
losing to the Thorne Cup Champions in the Pacific Conference Championship. Coach White currently lives in Belmont Shore, CA.
