Urbanec Becomes 1st Bomber to 100 Goals

Tomáš Urbanec, who broke Johnny Linehan's six year-old career goals record of 80, last season, has reached another milestone.  On October 19, in Fresno, Urbanec scored to become the first Long Beach player in their 25-year history to record his 100th career WSHL goal.  He has recorded 8 Goals in his first 9 Games Played, this season.  The 19 year-old is in his 5th season with the Bombers, and is currently tied for the Franchise All-Time Points Lead (234 - Johnny Linehan). 

Urbanec has registered 24 multiple-goal efforts, including 2 career hat-tricks.  Urbanec scored his 100th Goal in his 168th career Game Played.  As of today, the Zlín, Czech Republic native has 103 career Goals.  Last season, Urbanec scored 48 Goals, tying the Long Beach Bombers Single-Season Record, shared by Anders Romegård.
