Bombers Sign Bohan Prior To Showcase

by Bombers Staff

The Long Beach Bombers are proud to announce the signing of forward, Malcolm Bohan. The 6’0, 175-lb Manhattan Beach native played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings U18 AAA, last season. The 2000-born right shot also suited up for a single Bombers game, November 3 versus the Valencia Flyers, last year.

Bohan is returning home from a brief stint in Walpole, Massachusetts, where he played in the EHLP for the Walpole Express. His homecoming results in him joining the Bombers as they prepare for the WSHL Las Vegas Showcase, this week. Last season, in the T1EHL, Bohan recorded a stat line of 36GP-9G-4A-13Ps-18PIMs.

Long Beach Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Chris White, commented, “Malcolm played a very responsible game, for us, last year. He has good size and plays a simple game. I think he is really going to push our depth forwards, from day one. We were hoping to sign him during the off-season, so despite not having him for the first 23 games, it was a great call to receive, when he notified me of his interest to join our club. I believe he’s going to be a good teammate, be very coachable, and he’ll help us address some of our weaknesses, as a group. The biggest thing we are lacking in our bottom-6 is consistency, and I anticipate him to be able to play a consistent game. He’s a great student, a mature young man, and we’re very happy to add him to our team.”
