Bombers Bring Back Puck Magician Moskal

by Chris White

The Long Beach Bombers are proud to announce the signing of Southern California forward, Parker Moskal. The 6’2, 190lb center is a left shot, and hails from San Diego. In his final season of junior hockey, he will make a return to Long Beach, where he spent part of the 2014-2015 WSHL season.

Moskal took last season off, while playing inline hockey, and most recently played for the Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, along with the Pikes Peak Miners U18AAA in Colorado. He is a very skilled offensive player, that is looking to use the Bombers platform to springboard him into the collegiate ranks.

Long Beach Bombers Head Coach and General Manager, Chris White, commented, “Parker is an intriguing signing, for us. If you look at his puck handling skills, compared to his statistical history, it makes no sense. He is a YouTube highlight waiting to happen, but you need to be more than that at this level. We talked at length about the expectations for the season, and Parker is taking the opportunity seriously. We have set some small goals for him to focus on, and if he does, I think he could be a real special player. He can do some things with the puck that are utterly amazing. Now, we are looking for him to play a complete game, and allow those skills to shine in the right situations, or right areas of the rink. This is a huge wild card, and if it plays out in our favor, it’s going to be a game-changer for our team. He is a big body up the middle, and his inclusion into the forward group affords us a lot of options. I am excited to see how this experiment goes, and I’ll be rooting for Parker. If he can put it all together, he will be one of the top players in our league."
